On December 2, Long An Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Mekong Delta - Long An Industry and Trade Fair. Attending the ceremony were representative of Trade Promotion Department, Southern Affairs Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and leaders of Long An.

The fair will take place from December 2 to December 8
With a scale of over 500 booths of 200 units and businesses from 30 provinces and cities across the country, along with many activities taking place during the fair, this will be a very good opportunity for organizations and localities to display and promote their potentials, strengths and achievements through the socio-economic development period.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam said, this fair is a national trade promotion event and a good opportunity for localities and businesses to exhibit, introducing economic potential, strengths and typical rural industrial products, OCOP products bearing the Vietnamese brand name to domestic consumer.
At the same time, the fair helps promote trade connections between localities, businesses in provinces and cities, contributing to the effective implementation of solutions to restore production development, boost export promotion after Covid - 19, effectively implement the project on developing domestic market in association with "Vietnamese prioritize Vietnamese goods" Campaign and develop the brand name of Vietnamese goods.

The Fair Organizing Committee donated 50 million VND to the social security program of Tan An City
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Fair donated 50 million VND to the social security program of Tan An City. At the same time, the Korean Trade and Industry Association in Long An province (Kocham Long An for short) also donated VND 200 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An to take care of the poor during Tet holiday.
