Attending the event were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc; Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Truong Van No; Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - Hoang Dinh Can; Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa; Director of the UNESCO Center for Conservation and Development of Southern Don Ca Tai Tu - Nguyen Tan Anh.

Participating in this Don Ca Tai Tu exchange, there are 8 bands from provinces and cities: Dong Thap, Kien Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Long An, Can Tho City, Ho Chi Minh City. Nearly 150 artists, musicians, and singers will performe for two nights, February 25 and 26.

The Southern Don Ca Tai Tu Exchange in Long An province is an annual activity to create conditions for artisans and musicians to gather to offer incense to commemorate artisan and musician Nguyen Quang Dai and exchange, learn experience, contribute to preserving and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of Don Ca Tai Tu in the South.

Artist Nguyen Quang Dai is considered the one who laid the foundation for the art of Southern Don Ca Tai Tu around the 19th century. He has trained many generations of talented musicians, contributing to helping Don Ca Tai Tu develop and spread until now.

In this event, units from Long An, Dong Thap, Kien Giang and Can Tho City performed on the night of February 25. Units of Vinh Long, Dong Nai, Tien Giang and Ho Chi Minh City will perform on the night of February 26. Then, on February 27, the people of My Le commune will hold the Cau An ceremony and commemorate the death of artist and musician Nguyen Quang Dai./.
