Over 7,600 people visit and offer incense at Memorial Area of Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho
From the beginning of the year until now, Memorial Area of Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho located in Ben Luc town, Ben Luc district, Long An province has welcomed 54 delegations with 3,514 people and 4,139 visitors to visit and offer incense to commemorate.

Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho was born in 1910 in a middle-class civil servant family in Long Phu village, Trung Quan district, Cho Lon province (now in Ben Luc town, Ben Luc district, Long An province). From an early age, he was famous for being intelligent, good at studying and active.
In 1921 (when he was 11 years old), Nguyen Huu Tho left Saigon port alone to study in France, then he studied at the Faculty of Law, Aixen University of Law and Literature - Provence (Southern France). In 1933, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law and returned to his country to practice law.
Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho - the symbol of patriotism, studiousness and humble attitude
Throughout his revolutionary life, he held many important responsibilities such as Chairman of the Central Committee of the Liberation Front of Southern Vietnam, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nam, Acting President, President of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and so on. In 1996, he died in Ho Chi Minh City.
Admiring the solemn patriotism and dedication of Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho to his homeland and the country, Long An province built a Souvenir Area in Quarter 1, Ben Luc Town, Ben Luc District in 2010 and inaugurated on August 29, 2015. This is an embellishment project with an area of 10,000 square meters, including items such as a memorial temple, a display area, a souvenir - library, a green park area, a memorial tree planting area and other extra items.

With typical historical and cultural values, Souvenir Area of Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho was ranked as National Monument by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in June 2015./.
