Project to prevent landslides along riverbank of Can Giuoc River costs VND 280bln
Long An province Department of Agriculture & Rural Development and Can Giuoc district jointly organized conference aiming to approve the project to prevent erosion, landslides along the riverbank of Can Giuoc River in Long An.

The center for natural disaster & climate change prevention under the southern irrigation planning institute said the project has 2,290m long with total investment capital up to VND 280 to 295 billion.
Residents at Long Hau commune and Can Giuoc town will benefit from the project.
Deputy Chairman Pham Van Canh said the implementation of the project has to ensure the safety for the locals, not to affect to their property. After being completed, it must ensure to prevent erosion or landslides at above mentioned locations.
He asked the district authority to carry out the site clearance work on schedule./.
