Secretary of Long An Party Committee calls entire Party, people and army of Long An to unite and work together to repel Covid-19 epidemic

Dear compatriots, comrades, soldiers, business community inside and outside the province!

After 10 days implementing social distancing according to Official Letter No. 6619 of the Provincial People's Committee; The entire Party, people and army of Long An have united and joined forces to repel the Covid-19 epidemic; we have made good use of the golden time to focus on controlling and repelling the epidemic; So far, generally, the epidemic is basically under control, most of the new infections arising in areas that have been isolated and blocked. Some cases detected in the community have been narrowly zoned, focusing on tracing, isolating and treating.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, I commend the drastic, synchronous and whole-hearted participation of the frontline forces against the epidemic, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; the cooperation and compliance of people and businesses; gratitude and share the difficulties of the people of Long An and the business community when implementing social distancing to prevent and control the epidemic because the most important goal is to protect the people’s health, life and safety.

Although the epidemic situation is basically under control, the situation is very complicated and unpredictable, and tends to spread to all southern provinces and cities. Without strong and resolute solutions, it will be very difficult to control and control the epidemic, and soon bring a peaceful life to the people.

In order to promote the results achieved in the past time, aim to control and end the epidemic, maintain and develop the economy, and bring the society to a new normal state, the province highly agrees with the direction timely, correctly and consistently with the actual situation of the PM in Official Letter No. 969/TTg-KGVX. Long An province decided to seriously implement the direction of the PM in Official Letter No. 969/TTg-KGVX from 00 am, July 19, 2021.

The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province always believes that compatriots, comrades, soldiers and business community will unite together, unify will and action, implement drastically, vigorously, together and effective measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic have been implemented in the province. Let's consider the difficulties and hardships ahead of us today as a very meaningful contribution in the fight we must win - The fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to recover and develop the economy- society soon, bringing a prosperous and happy life to the people.
