As of the afternoon of June 25, Long An had a total of 63 cases of Covid-19, of which 48 were in the community, 15 were isolated after entry. In particular, the districts of Can Giuoc, Ben Luc, and Duc Hoa have continuously recorded cases in the community in the past few days, these are key areas that need to focus all efforts on epidemic prevention.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Pham Tan Hoa asked localities to proactively plan vaccination in industrial parks and clusters; strictly implement the management of people leaving and returning from epidemic areas, especially in industrial parks and clusters and people doing business; organizing sampling, testing at hostels, random testing in public places. Localities need to strengthen the Steering Committee; proactively, ready facilities and equipment to serve the fight against the epidemic.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc said that the epidemic situation was still complicated, localities were not negligent but also not confused and worried. He asked localities to take the initiative; strictly implement the directives of the Central Government and the province; promote the principle of "4 on site", be flexible, creative, promote wisdom, solidarity and democracy, unity in direction; promote the role of Party secretary, Chairman of People's Committee of communes, fronts, mass organizations, community Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

In the coming time, Long An will continue to be on high alert and strictly follow the instructions of the Central Government, ensuring both epidemic prevention and economic development. The head of the locality or unit will take the highest responsibility before the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee in the event that the unit or area in charge of the epidemic occurs due to subjective error. Special attention must be paid to protecting the epidemic prevention and control forces, and protecting the health of medical staff and doctors at medical facilities.
