In the last 3 weeks (from December 13 to January 2), the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths decreased. The whole province reached level 1 – low risk (green) which was assessed the level of risk and level of epidemic according to Resolution 128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021 of the Government (assessment week from December 26, 2021 to January 1, 2022),

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc asked to continue to thoroughly understand and strictly implement the directing documents of the Central and the province and the conclusions of the Provincial Steering Committee on the work of epidemic prevention and control in the current state. The "new normal" ensures safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic. At the same time, continue to restructure and organize effective operation of hospitals in the spirit of "Dual-use, savings and efficiency", ensuring oxygen supply during treatment; proactive in the situation of epidemic outbreaks again as well as the situation of severe disease and increased mortality.

In particular, do not organize activities with large crowds, especially on the Lunar New Year; strengthen inspection and sanction places that violate regulations on mass gathering (restaurants, pubs, karaoke, so on) to raise people's awareness in epidemic prevention.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also directed to strengthen the activities of community Covid groups, hamlets and neighborhoods for epidemic prevention and control in the new situation to ensure the substance, efficiency and close control of the area; especially the movement of people during the Lunar New Year. Focus on implementing Official Dispatch No. 1745/CD-TTg dated December 19, 2021 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the Covid-19 prevention and control, controlling the new variant Omicron of SARS virus- CoV-2.

In addition, the province continues to review, consolidate and well organizes the activities of the school health system, proactively and effectively and closely implements plans to ensure safety for epidemic prevention and control for schools that are organizing in-person learning; etc. It pays attention to inspecting and supervising the implementation of social security policies, especially the period before, during and after the Lunar New Year; urgently reviews, does not to miss or leave the people and areas that need support./.
