Tan An City announces Logo - Slogan and launchs Intelligent Operation Center

On April 22, the People's Committee of Tan An City held a ceremony to announce the Logo - Slogan and launch the Intelligent Operation Center. Attending the ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Nguyen Thanh Hai; former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; representative of leaders from other provinces; leaders of provincial departments and branches and leaders of Tan An city.

In March 2022, Tan An City held a Logo  - Slogan Design Contest. After 4 months of launching, the Competition Organizing Committee received 155 Logo and 55 Slogan from 9 groups of authors and 75 individuals from 11 provinces and cities. Accordingly, the city has selected the consolation prize-winning work of author Pham Tam - Lecturer of Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture with additional suggestions from the city's leaders to create the Logo of Tan An City.

Logo - Slogan plays an important role, being the representative, the brand face for a unit or an organization. It is also a symbol of ideals, meanings and trends in the development strategy of each unit. For Tan An City, the Logo - Slogan also carries the spirit of a friendly, civilized and modern young city.

Over the past time, the city has focused on building and completing the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC), installing a smart camera system to monitor security, order and traffic safety, replacing existing lights with energy-saving LED lights, Intelligent Lighting Management,etc. This is considered the initial system to deploy smart urban services of the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tan An City - Le Cong Dinh said that the organization of the Logo - Slogan Design Contest aims to create the image of "Friendly, civilized and modern" Tan An city; implementing the Project of Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) and Intelligent Lighting Management;etc towards building Tan An into a smart city.
