Tan An City awarded the Second-class Labor Medal

Tan An City has just been awarded the Second-class Labor Medal on the occasion of its 10^th anniversary

This noble title was signed by the President in Decision No.1386, dated August 20, 2019 for the people and officials of Tan An City due to their outstanding achievements in mobilizing resources for investment in infrastructure management of architectural and construction planning so that Tan An city reaches a type-II urban.

According to the Vice-Chairman of Tan An City People's Committee - Nguyen Quang Thai, this is good news for the Party Committee, authorities and people on the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of the city. In recent years, the city's political and socio-economic situation has been stable and constantly developed; defense and security are maintained. Implementing Resolution of the Party Congress of Tan An City (the term 2015 – 2020), economic structure has shifted in the right direction, the proportion of trade - services has increased; the quality of industry-construction and agriculture development has improved.

Over the past 10 years, the city has mobilized resources and invested in many projects, contributing to fulfilling the criteria of a type-II urban

Over the past 10 years, the city has mobilized capital from the budget, people and investors with a total amount of more than 6,600 billion VND, exceeding nearly 20% of the planned target. The mobilized capital has been used to build infrastructure, focusing on investing in the construction of transport and drainage systems, especially arterial roads to create a driving force for socio-economic development and to meet the travel needs of the people.

In this Decision, the State President also presented the Second-class Labor Medal to the people and officials of Thanh Hoa district for their outstanding achievements in developing rural transport development, in-field irrigation associated with new rural construction, contributing to the socialist construction and national defense./.
