After 2 years of implementing, Tan An City Party Committee, government, departments, and mass organizations at all levels have focused on leadership, close direction, determination, and synchronous implementation to meet civilized urban standards

Up to now, the city has achieved relatively comprehensive and outstanding results. In particular, the urban appearance has many innovations, the material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved and enhanced.

The infrastructure system (traffic system, schools, cultural institutions, etc) has been built synchronously, well serving the needs of production as well as cultural - artistic, physical education and sports activities.

Propaganda work on building civilized urban areas has been organized regularly and extensively, contributing to raising awareness and action of the entire political system. The local people agreed, responded to and actively participated in implementing the criteria.

Cultural and artistic activities have the participation of many people

The quality of education, health care, culture and environment is increasingly enhanced. People's lives are increasingly improved. The poverty rate has decreased sharply and sustainably. Political security is maintained, social order is ensured. The political system is increasingly strong and transparent, grassroots democracy is promoted.

Chairman of Tan An City People's Committee - Vo Hong Thao said that, based on Decision No. 04/2022, dated February 18, 2022 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the Regulations on criteria, order and procedures for considering recognition of civilized urban standards, Tan An City has 9/9 criteria contents achieved. This is good news for the Party Committee, government and people of the city on the occasion of the new spring.

The results achieved are the efforts and determination of the entire political system and the support and consensus of the people. In the coming time, the city is determined to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria to ensure compliance with the regulations of civilized urban criteria, creating a solid foundation for Tan An City to basically complete the criteria of a type I urban area in 2025.

The ceremony to announce the decision to recognize Tan An City as a civilized urban area and the meeting to "Celebrate the Party and Lunar new year of the Snake 2025" will be held on January 12, 2025 at Tan An City Park./.
