Tan An city should focus on urban planning and attract investment

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc suggested that Tan An city should promote the exemplary role of the leader in leading and implementing the tasks and targets

The Standing Committee of the city Party Committee has led the implementation of the Resolution of the City Party Committee in 2022 in association with the Resolution of the 13^th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11^th Congress of the Party Committee of the province and city for the term 2020-2025. Up to now, 17 out of 18 targets have ensured progress according to the Resolution. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the city will complete most of the set targets.

The socio-economic situation has been stable; the production and business have continued to recover and adapt safely and flexibly to the Covid-19 epidemic. The city has completed projects and plans to meet the requirements of urban development. As of May 30, state budget revenue was 328 billion VND, reaching 43.3 percent of the plan.

At the conference

At the conference, the city proposed issues such as allocating funds to soon complete embankment of Vam Co Tay river, embankment of Bao Dinh river, etc. The city also proposed to be guaranteed by the province to get ODA loans; to be considered for the implementation of urban and residential land fund development projects to embellish the infrastructure to improve people's lives and create a flow of re-investment capital for the society. The city also hoped the province would allow the setting up of a Boundary expansion project up to 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut noted that Tan An city should follow the idea of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in urban planning; comprehensively evaluate the expansion of administrative boundaries; focus on budget collection and public investment disbursement; resolve difficulties in site clearance; ensure a friendly investment environment to attract investors; focus on cadres work; etc.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc suggested that Tan An city should promote the exemplary role of the leader in leading and implementing the tasks and targets; be more drastic in the implementation of projects and works in the area.

The city should lead and strictly implement the construction work, planning management; proactively and urgently coordinate to advise and concretize to effectively implement Resolution No. 35-NQ/TU, dated April 8, 2022 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the construction and development of Tan An city in the period of 2021-2030.

Regarding the proposals of the city, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and related departments and branches have received and explained; assigned the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation or report and propose the Central Government to consider and settle, support according to its competence; etc./.
