Tan Tru starts constructing Vam Co Tay riverside road

Leaders of Long An province and Tan Tru district perform the groundbreaking ceremony

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Thanh Hai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

It is known that the Vam Co Tay riverside road project is an upgrade project for the riverside embankment, invested by the People's Committee of Tan Tru district, and approved by the Department of Transport and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Long An province to evaluate and agree on implementation.

The project has a scale of plain level 4, the road surface is 7 meters wide, the designed speed is 40 kilometers per hour, the load between the two axles of the vehicle is 10 tons, the work has a total length of nearly 4 kilometers, the starting point is adjacent to Nguyen Trung Truc street, Tan Tru townlet and the ending point is adjacent to Cong Ban street, Binh Tinh commune, Tan Tru district.

The project is built by One-member 622 Co., Ltd - Ministry of Defense with a total value of over 105 billion VND, from the district budget for the period 2021 - 2023. In 2021, the capital will be allocated for phase 1.

It is known that the Vam Co Tay riverside route will be the artery connecting Tan Tru district with Tan An city. Thereby, it contributes to the economic development - trade and eco-tourism of the district.

Also at the ceremony, the representative of the construction unit also presented a symbol of charity house to policy households facing housing difficulties in Tan Tru district./.
