Tay Ninh promotes investment in Japan

During the working trip, the delegation will pay a courtesy visit to the Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan and engage in a series of in-depth meetings with Japanese agencies, organizations, associations, and major corporations to promote substantive cooperation.

The highlight of the trip is the “Tokyo – Tay Ninh Investment Promotion and Connection Seminar,” hosted by the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee in coordination with Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company, taking place on August 6, 2025, in Tokyo. The event provides Japanese investors a valuable opportunity to explore Tay Ninh’s portfolio of industrial parks, clusters, and key economic zones — all distinguished by abundant clean land, modern infrastructure, and attractive incentive policies.

A typical example is Phuoc Dong Industrial Park — the largest in the province — which features comprehensive planning, a strategic location, and well-connected infrastructure, and is actively seeking international strategic investors.

Until now, Tay Ninh Province has attracted approximately 1,900 FDI projects with a total registered capital exceeding 24 billion USD. Among these, Japanese investors account for around 173 projects with over 1.2 billion USD in registered capital, ranking fourth in the number of projects and total investment value among 40 countries and territories investing in the province.

The investment promotion program in Japan marks a significant starting point in Tay Ninh’s 2025 series of investment promotion activities, following the recent administrative merger. The event underscores the province’s strong commitment to supporting investors while also serving as a valuable opportunity to broaden its network of partners and foster substantive connections with Japanese localities, business associations, and enterprises with proven capacity and experience.

Through specific meetings and working sessions, Tay Ninh Province aims to lay a solid foundation for attracting strategic investment capital from Japan in this new era of development./.
