Thu Thua district voters concerned about electricity price increase and road degradation

On May 11, Standing Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh met voters in Binh Thanh commune, Thu Thua district, the Mekong Delta province of Long An before the seventh session of the 14th National Assembly.

National Assembly member, Deputy Director of Long An Department of Transport - Dang Hoang Tuan informed the voters about the expected content and agenda of the upcoming session. 

At the meeting, voter Vo Van Thach (in Ba Pho hamlet) petitioned the National Assembly to consider the increase of electricity prices to avoid adversely affecting people's lives and the production of organizations.

Voter Tran Thanh Hiep (in Binh Cang 2 hamlet) also complained about the degradation of National Highway 1 and National Road N2, (through Thu Thua district). He expected the authorities to quickly repair and upgrade these routes to create favorable conditions for people to travel and transport goods. He also proposed to build embankments to prevent landslides.

In addition, many voters expressed their worry about issues such as policies for former youth volunteers; environmental pollution caused by Ba La Xanh Company; solutions to prevent and combat corruption, drugs and smuggling, etc.

Standing Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh briefly reported the socio-economic situation of the country. At the same time, he answered comments on anti-corruption, smuggling as well as illegal trafficking and use of drugs. He also shared voters' worries about the increase of electricity prices.
