As orders are increasing and key markets are showing signs of positive recovery, businesses are taking full advantage of opportunities to boost production and exports to achieve the highest target in 2024.
Positive signals
In the first 9 months of 2024, Long An province recorded a gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate of 6.82%. This is the highest growth rate since 2022, showing that the economic situation is recovering strongly after the Covid-19 pandemic. This result is thanks to the recovery of both the manufacturing and trade services sectors.
In particular, investment attraction data is also quite optimistic, domestic and foreign investors continue to believe in the investment environment and competitiveness in attracting investment of the Long An. Anova Feed Joint Stock Company (Anova Group Industrial Cluster, Hamlet 4, Long Cang, Can Duoc) is one of three factories under Nova Consumer Group - a group with strengths in the field of animal feed, veterinary medicine and aquatic medicine in Vietnam. The other two factories are operating in Dong Nai and Hung Yen provinces.
Anova Feed's representative said that in recent times, the company has boldly invested in modern, fully automatic production lines imported from Europe along with a quality management system that has been certified by many international organizations such as: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2005, ISO 17025, HACCP and Global GAP, ensuring the quality of finished products is always at an optimal level. The company's products are consumed domestically through a product distribution system spanning 63 provinces and cities, ensuring that customers' needs are met quickly and conveniently.
Currently, the company's total workforce is more than 800 people, including workers serving the farm system and factory workers in Long An. Raw materials for production are purchased domestically at about 30-40%, the rest is imported.
According to Anova Feed's representative, in 2024, the company aims to increase revenue by about 6% compared to 2023. Net revenue in the first months of 2024 did not reach the set target. However, in the last months of 2024, production is favorable due to the increase in prices of pigs and ducks, so livestock farming activities were profitable, farmers restored many herds, and orders in the last months of 2024 are quite good. The company believes that this is a good condition for increasing production, achieving an increase in revenue of about 2,400 billion VND as the target set in 2024.

Mr. Bui Anh Long added that due to the market's many difficulties after the Covid-19 pandemic, Tazmo Vietnam has reduced their production scale. in 2024, the company aims to achieve net revenue of about 500 billion VND. However, in the last months of 2024, the production situation showed positive signs. In the first 6 months of 2024, the company exceeded the target by more than 50%; in the last months of 2024, the company has more orders and it is estimated that the revenue for the whole year of 2024 will increase by about 30% compared to the plan. Thanks to this, the jobs and income of employees are always stable and they are attached to the company for a long time. These days, the whole company is focusing on the year-end orders.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, industrial and construction production activities in the third quarter of 2024 developed strongly, with a growth rate of 13.5%. Of which, the industrial sector increased by 14.07%. Enterprises received orders and increased production output, contributing to the growth of the industrial sector, most clearly shown in the index of industrial production (IIP) increasing each month. In addition, import and export activities continued to maintain growth, with exports reaching more than 5.8 billion USD, increased 12.6%; imports reaching more than 3.7 billion USD, increased 16.7%.
