The industrial production value of Can Duoc district reached more than 22,000 billion VND, reaching 90 percent of the plan. The district has 2 operating industrial parks. Accordingly, Cau Tram Industrial Park (96.4 hectares) has 38 companies, its occupancy rate is 100 percent. Thuan Dao - Ben Luc Industrial Park in Long Dinh Commune (189.8 hectares) has 42 companies, its occupancy rate is 90 percent.

Phuoc Dong Industrial Park and Port (143.3 hectares) has completed over 60 percent of infrastructure and continues to invest fully under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. Phuc Long industrial park (expanded) in Long Dinh - Phuoc Van commune (322.5 hectares) has carried out land procedures to submit to the Prime Minister for the policy of changing the purpose of rice cultivation land.

In addition, the district also has 7 industrial clusters that complete site clearance, infrastructure and receive secondary investors into operation; 2 industrial clusters that have the policy of changing the purpose of rice cultivation land of the Prime Minister and are in the process of site clearance; and 8 industrial clusters that have had the investment policy decision of the provincial People's Committee and are submitting to the Prime Minister for changing the purpose of using rice land.

The district strives to achieve a production value of over 27,000 billion VND by 2020, an increase of 21 percent compared to 2019. At the same time, the district coordinated with provincial departments and branches to focus on inspecting in order to promptly solve difficulties in production and business activities, compensation clearance, suspended or inefficient projects. The district creates favorable conditions in attracting investment and constructing the infrastructure of industrial clusters to increase the occupancy rate of industrial parks and clusters; cooperates with the province to promote the operation of Long Son, Long Huu Dong and Long Huu Tay industrial clusters.

Besides, based on the district's socio-economic development planning to 2020 and vision to 2030, the district People's Committee adjusts, supplements and completes the plans to mobilize and use resources to promote rapid and sustainable economic development following to the structure of industry - trade, service - agriculture, urban development and environmental protection./.
