Since Vietnam recorded the case of Covid-19, Long An Border Guard Command has directed the border posts to coordinate with the local health sector to guide people to declare health according to regulations; strictly control people passing through border gates, trails and opening paths. At the same time, people were promoted propaganda on both sides of the border to raise awareness of implementing disease prevention and control measures as recommended by the Ministry of Health.

According to the plan, Moc Hoa Infantry Troop will be selected as a concentrated isolation area, with a scale of over 100 people. This is the second concentrated isolation area of the province. At the meeting, participants focused on arranging the wastewater treatment system; installing camera; installing television, wifi; arranging lighting system; and os on at the concentrated isolation area.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can said: “The Covid-19 epidemic is currently complicated, unpredictable and spread quickly and widely in many countries and territories so it is very important to control the disease. Therefore, it is recommended that departments, sectors and localities strictly follow 5 anti-epidemic principles (preventing, detecting, isolating, zoning and curing the epidemic). Medical teams, doctors and disease prevention forces must ensure health safety.

At the concentrated isolation area, it is recommended to readily prepare sufficient human resources for operation; early arrange isolation rooms with full of facilities. It is proposed that the Long An Border Guard Command, the Provincial Military Command and the health sector have a daily coordination regulation. At the same time, the in-charge cadres and soldiers actively coordinate with relevant branches to strictly implement the process of controlling and closely monitoring epidemics at border gates, especially trails, opening paths and strengthening the work of exchanging and sharing information on the situation of Covid-19 epidemic with neighbouring country, it determines not to let the disease enter the area. Market management forces should strictly control goods transported back and forth across the border area./.
