Customers place trust in local Vietnamese products

In recent times, the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” has had positive changes, gradually becoming more practical and effective. Domestic goods in distribution channels are increasingly accounting for a higher proportion than before, showing that Vietnamese goods are gradually being trusted by Vietnamese consumers. Many businesses in the province have made strong breakthroughs, gradually conquering the market, contributing to promoting the brand of Vietnamese products in general, and Tay Ninh specialties in particular, to many domestic and foreign markets.

Businesses strive to reach consumers

In early 2025, Tan Nhien Rice Paper, one of the famous brands of Tay Ninh province, was honored to be the first 5-star OCOP-certified product of the province and one of 51 products achieving 5-star OCOP nationwide. This is a leverage to help the province's OCOP products to conquer consumers and spread in the market.

With a clear aspiration and plan, Tan Nhien Company has strived to make a hometown gift like rice paper a specialty of Tay Ninh, present on the shelves of supermarket systems and convenience stores nationwide.

The success of Tan Nhien Rice Paper shows that building and developing a brand is important, contributing to strengthening trust in Vietnamese goods.

According to Mr. Dang Khanh Duy - General Director of Tan Nhien Company Limited, most customers using Tan Nhien products are satisfied and choose to use them again. Therefore, the output has increased every year. The company has upgraded its machinery and factory to produce to meet market demand. Previously, in production, the company followed ISO22.000 standards, but now it uses the FSSC22.000 process, a set of standards that is almost recognized worldwide for quality management.

Over the years, Tam Lan tea has also been a product sought after by many tourists and consumers when coming to Tay Ninh. In order to manage product quality well, Tam Lan Tea One Member Co., Ltd. has determined that it must ensure that the input materials meet standards. The company has invested in growing clean materials that meet VietGAP standards to supply the factory.

Up to now, many brands from Tay Ninh have been trusted and chosen by consumers and are present on reputable distribution channels. Even Vietnamese people abroad can easily find products originating from Vietnam at many retail channels abroad. That is one of the most positive signals from the market.

Currently, Tay Ninh province has successfully built and developed brands for many local products such as Ba Den custard apple, chili salt - shrimp salt, Trang Bang sun-dried rice paper, Tay Ninh beef. In addition, many businesses and products have achieved national brands, awards, and certifications in production, export, import, etc.

Support to elevate local products

To support enterprises in the province to improve their production and business capacity, in the past 5 years, the Provincial People's Committee has issued Regulations on supporting loans for developing good agricultural practices, high-tech agriculture, and organic agriculture in Tay Ninh province in the period of 2019-2025; Regulations on supporting linkages in production and consumption of agricultural products in Tay Ninh province in the period of 2019-2025; Plan on innovation in business methods and consumption of agricultural products in the period of 2022-2025; implement the strategy "Developing domestic trade in the period up to 2030, with a vision to 2045" in the province; plan to stabilize the market of some essential goods in Tay Ninh province to direct, operate, and manage the implementation related to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; etc. Thereby, creating a favorable policy mechanism to encourage enterprises and orient consumption.

The Provincial People's Council also issued a resolution on policies to support the application of Good Agricultural Practices in agriculture and aquaculture in Tay Ninh province, period 2022-2025; stipulating investment and support levels for implementing the task of developing seed production to serve the restructuring of the agricultural sector in Tay Ninh province, period 2024-2030; stipulating a number of contents and support levels for implementing the One Commune One Product Program in the area.

The province also actively and effectively implemented industrial promotion policies to support enterprises and industrial and handicraft production establishments to improve their management capacity, transfer technology and apply advanced machinery in production; organize training courses on "Improving capacity for packaging label design, improving production processes to promote products into distribution channels and supermarket systems".

In addition, the province also focuses on innovating trade promotion methods; organized more than 60 programs to support businesses participating in trade promotion activities, promoting the province's specialties; proactively organized activities to connect supply and demand, promote trade, and support the consumption of products produced according to GAP, VietGAP, and GlobalGAP processes.

Currently, Tay Ninh province continues to support the construction and development of typical national rural industrial products, with the goal of having more OCOP products that meet 4-star and 5-star standards.

Enterprises with typical rural industrial products will be supported to invest in renewing machinery and equipment, helping to improve product quality and output; and will be given priority to display and introduce products at domestic and foreign fairs and exhibitions.

The province also has policies to support design, packaging, building and registering brands, helping products achieve titles such as High-quality Vietnamese goods, national brand products, HACCP certificates, etc.

Fairs and exhibitions inside and outside the province are actively participated in by businesses, manufacturers and traders. Since 2019, hundreds of businesses have participated.

Currently, the functional sector continues to promote propaganda and raise people's awareness of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods." This is a policy of great significance, both contributing significantly to promoting socio-economic development and demonstrating the national pride and self-respect of each citizen.

Through the campaign, businesses located in the province have promoted their responsibility in serving the needs of the people. Many businesses have actively participated in the campaign in a variety of forms.
