In 2010, when starting to implement the NRC, Tan An rural dwellers suffered from many hardships on life and manufacturing conditions. Nearly nine years of deploying NRC passed, the rural appearance of Tan An city has really taken off.  Particularly, 100 percent of arterial roads in communes and hamlets were plasticized and concretized; 12 out of 12 schools at all levels obtained national standard recognitions; the percentage of people with health insurance coverage was 93 percent (21 percent greater than 2010 figures), 77,4 percent of households got access to freshwater resources (over 74 percent more compared to 2010 figures).

With reference to agricultural manufacturing, Tan An city's successful switch from growing rice to cultivating dragonfruit, vegetable and cattle grass has uplifted the per capita income of the city to over 58 million VND, surpassed the income in 2010 by 43 million VND; 2019 needy families fell to 1.2 percent; 77,4 percent of households acquired freshwater resources; 93 percent of the population had health insurance.

Recognizing big attempts during all this time, the Prime Minister officially praised Tan An city for accomplishing NRC mission in 2019.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh highly praised and paid a compliment for what the Long An Party Committee, authority and people in general, Tan An city in particular achieved in the NRC. However, these achievements are just initial success in the process of developing modern and sustainable agriculture and rural areas.

In the coming time, those positive results are demanded to be upheld. He also encouraged the citizens to join hands and construct the NRC. In which, Long An province in general and Tan An city in particular should carry on competing, enhancing the quality, ensure the durability which associates criteria for the NRC with socio-economic development and environmental conservation. Most importantly, it is a rising need that manufacturing progress should be dominantly attached with restructuring the agriculture towards the orientation of raising added value and develop sustainably.

Besides, it is necessary to pay attention to distribute the human resources, apply mechanisms, policies flexibly and creatively and specific conditions of the local, strengthen mobilizing resources for building a synchronized and modern socio-economic infrastructure of rural areas, associated with urban development; boost manufacturing development, make restructuring agriculture parallel to constructing modern and sustainable rural area; awarely protect the environment and serve the motto "green - clean - beautiful"; improve the cultural and spiritual life of citizens, etc. It is necessary to keep on spreading, encouraging and raise people’s awareness of deliberately, actively and whole-heartedly join hands in NRC.

For Tan An city, there's a need to better promote precious traditional solidarity as well as creative labour; to strive to discover disruptive solutions in socio-economic development, to erect a civilized and rich city, to deserve to be a center for politics, economy, culture and society of the province.

Tan An city needs to optimally organize key economic programs that are delegated, takes notice of enacting administration form and improving investment and business environment, support the entrepreneur's establishment and development. Also, efficiently mobilizes the resources to synchronized develop socio-economic infrastructure, utilises 4.0 industrial revolution's striking achievements to serve the purpose of converting the communes to advanced new-style rural communes and model new-style rural communes. 

On this occasion, 6 groups and 15 individuals were given commendations from the Chairman of the Long An People's Committee and 5 groups, 10 individuals were given commendations from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan An city for having excellent achievements in the NRC movement of Tan An city./.
