Tan An City agreed to recognize completion of new-style rural construction

Long An Provincial People's Committee holds a meeting with members of Steering Committee of New-style Rural Construction Program to discuss, vote and propose to consider and recognize Tan An City to complete the task of building new-style rural.

As a result of new-style rural construction, Tan An City has 100% of communes meeting new rural standards as prescribed. By December 2018, the city has had no basic construction debts in new-style rural construction.

According to the report on people's satisfaction of the new-style rural construction of Tan An city, the consultation was conducted in 83 hamlets and residential areas of 14 communes and wards sent 27,412 votes for 39,160 households for comments. As a result, the criteria in the questionnaire are evaluated to pass; 99.6 percent of Tan An city households are satisfied with the results of new-style rural construction.

The majority of the households polled were pleased with the results of the new rural construction of the city. The National Target Program on building a new countryside brings many important effects, contributing to socio-economic development and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

After summarizing the comments, members of the Steering Committee voted to propose the consideration and recognition of Tan An city to complete the task of building new-style rural.

As a result, 100 percents of the Steering Committee members agreed to propose the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to consider and appraise and submit to the Prime Minister to recognize Tan An city to complete the tasks of building new-style rural 2018./.
