According to the assessment, after 8 years of implementing the National Target Program to build the new-style rural, with the efforts of all levels, sectors and localities, especially the consensus of joining hands and contributions of the city people, 5 out of 5 communes has met new-style rural standards up to now.

Currently, communes are continuing to improve the quality of the new-style rural. In communes recognized as new rural standards, socio-economic development, people's material and spiritual life has been constantly improved. By the end of 2018, the average income in rural areas reached 58.46 million VND/person/year. The situation of political security - social order and safety are maintained. The construction of the political system is concerned, strengthened, the people are excited and united to successfully implement the local political tasks.

After 2020, the goal of building the new-style rural of Tan An city is to develop the economy, improve the material and spiritual life of people in rural areas. Rural has been developed under planning, linking agricultural development with industry, service and urban development. Modern socio-economic infrastructure, preserved cultural identity, improved people's intellectual standards, beautiful and clean green ecological environment, improved political system quality, sustainable rural development, etc./.
