One of the province's strategic breakthroughs in the current period is investing in building synchronous infrastructure. In particular, the province prioritizes the development of transport infrastructure to promote economic development.
Tan An City Ring Road has a starting point intersecting with National Route 62 at My Phu intersection (Thu Thua district), an ending point intersecting National Route 1 - Provincial Road 833 (Tan An City), with a total length of over 22km of road and 5 bridges. The project is divided into 13 packages. Up to now, 8/13 packages have been completed and put into use, with a total length of over 14km and 3 bridges. The project is expected to open the entire route by the end of 2023.

Acting Chairman of Tan An City People's Committee - Vo Hong Thao informed that Tan An City Ring Road is one of three key projects according to the Resolution of 10th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015-2020. Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress determined that completing the Ring Road of Tan An City is one of the three key projects of the 2020-2025 term. Once completed, the project will reduce pressure on National Route and its bypass section passing through Tan An City, Hung Vuong road and Hung Vuong road (extended), redirecting traffic to suburban areas. The project also contributes to expanding the gateway of Ho Chi Minh City, connecting the western provinces with Ho Chi Minh City and the East, contributing greatly to the process of building a class I urban area of Tan An City.
Provincial Road 830E is over 9.3km long, the starting point is at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway (at An Thanh commune, Ben Luc district), the end point connects to Provincial Road 830, Long Dinh commune, Can Duoc district. The capital for site clearance in 2023 is 1,026 billion VND, about 96% of the plan has been disbursed. Ben Luc District People's Committee is paying compensation to people. The section through Can Duoc district has cleared over 98% of the area. This project is also being constructed by 4 contractors with the goal of completing the section to National Route 1 during this term.
For project Provincial Road 827E, passing through Long An province, including 35.6km from the border of Long An - Ho Chi Minh City, in Long Hau commune, Can Giuoc district to the end point at the border of Long An - Tien Giang province in Hiep Thanh commune, Chau Thanh district. The entire route is divided into 5 independent projects, including 3 site clearance projects in 3 different sections and 2 construction investment projects (road and bridge).

The Department of Transport informed that, the project aims to create a driving force connecting the development of 3 localities: Ho Chi Minh City - Long An - Tien Giang. Once completed, it will create a breakthrough in transportation infrastructure, meeting the requirements of attracting investment and developing industry - trade - services for Chau Thanh, Tan Tru, Can Duoc and Can Giuoc districts as well as the province, contributing to creating development momentum for the entire Southwest Region.
The province will focus resources from budget capital to carry out site clearance work and invest in building roads leading to bridges on Provincial Road 827E (Can Giuoc, Vam Co Dong and Vam Co Tay bridges) to connect bridges with provincial roads and national routes to promote investment efficiency.
In the past half term, 3 key projects were implemented along with the Program on Mobilizing all resources to build a synchronous transport infrastructure system to serve industrial and urban development in the province's key economic region, contributing to completing, improving, forming an increasingly synchronous and modern transportation network. Relevant departments, branches, and localities need to strengthen monitoring, inspection, supervision, and urge the implementation of 3 key projects as well as 3 breakthrough programs of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, to achieve proposed plan.

Officials and party members must be proactive, exemplary and drastic in propagating deeply and widely to the people about policies, regimes and regulations related to compensation, site clearance and resettlement. for key project projects to create consensus for the overall development of the province.
