Currently, the price of fresh rice purchased by businesses increases from 500-700 VND per kilo, particularly for Dai Thom 8 rice increases 1,250 VND per kilo; sticky rice increased by 3,200 VND per kilo, white rice increased by 1,100 VND per kilo over the same period in 2019. In addition, white rice export price tended to increase by 45 USD per ton over the same period in 2019, sticky rice increased by 105 USD per ton.

Currently, the price of fresh rice purchased by businesses is as follows: IR 50404 is 5,100 VND per kilo; OM 4900 is 5,500 VND per kilo; OM 5451 is 5,400 VND per kilo; ST 24 is 8,200 VND per kilo; Dai Thom 8 rice is 6,000 VND per kilo. Prices of 5 percent – 15 percent – 25 percent of broken rice types are respectively 8,600 - 8,400 - 8,200 VND per kilo; Nang Hoa rice is 12,500 VND per kilo; Japonica rice is 11,500 VND per kilo; ST 24 rice is 20,500 VND per kilo; Dai Thom 8 rice is 9,900 VND per kg; sticky rice 10 percent is 12,700 VND per kilo.

Prices for export rice of 5 percent - 10 percent  - 15 percent  - 25 percent of broken rice types are respectively 395 USD per ton - 390 USD per ton - 385 USD per ton - 375 USD per ton; Nang Hoa rice is 560 USD per ton, Japonica rice is 600 USD per ton, ST 24 rice is 850 USD per ton, Dai Thom 8 rice is 445 USD per ton, sticky rice 10 percent is 565 USD per ton./.
