Four more industrial clusters to come into operation

Once completed, the above industrial clusters will add nearly 200 hectares to the province's clean land fund to attract investment.

Currently, these industrial cluster projects are about to be completed ground leveling on the allocated land. After that, the construction of technical infrastructure will be carried out. It is expected that the following items will be basically completed by the end of 2021: wastewater treatment area, traffic system, water supply and drainage system, and water drainage system and power supply to be put into operation.

According to the approved Industrial Cluster Development Plan to 2020, 60 industrial clusters in Long An province have approved infrastructure investment policies with a total area of more than 3,200 hectares. In which, 22 industrial clusters have been put into operation with occupancy rate of 77.6 percent, attracting 622 secondary investment projects with leased area of nearly 760 hectares.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the it will continue to complete the plan to develop the industrial cluster in the period of 2021 - 2030 in order to contribute to the development of industrial infrastructure and attract investment in the area in the coming time. At the same time, it review and handle industrial cluster projects that have investment policies but are slow to implement to propose the province to consider.

In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to monitor and urge the investor of the industrial cluster infrastructure project to complete legal procedures, speed up the construction progress so that it can be put into operation soon, increase the clean land fund to attract provincial investment./.
