Recently, Long An has maintained the operational efficiency of Provincial Public Administration Service Center and Districts Public Administration Center; well performed the work of monitoring, supervising and urging the receipt and return of administrative procedure results of all levels and branches. In 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, the whole province received 1,478,743 dossiers, 56.62% handled ahead of schedule, 41.87% on time, 0.32% overdue, and 1.19% being processed.
Regarding the implementation of Government's Project 06, agencies, units and localities have strictly implemented the province's guiding documents. The provincial police have implemented the issuance of citizen identification (ID) cards with a chip in combination with the collection of documents for granting electronic identification accounts, integrating driver's license information, health insurance, etc. Up to now, the province has granted ID cards to 1,363,497/1,449,129 citizens eligible, reaching 95.82%.
However, in the process of receiving and handling administrative procedures that require organizations and citizens to provide household registration books and temporary residence books, there are still some problems: Many cases of national database were incompleted as prescribed; when looking up citizen's residence information on one-stop software, only household registration can be determined, not temporary residence;etc.

At the meeting, Long An proposed ministries and branches to urgently announce administrative procedures requiring the submission and presentation of household registration books, temporary residence books or papers that require certification of the locality where they reside so that localities can announce, publicize and organize the uniform implementation of the Law on Residence, Decree No. 104. At the same time, the province proposed that central ministries and branches strengthen the implementation of data connection and sharing, especially for information systems related to administrative procedure settlement to avoid entering data twice.
The working group of Government's PAR Steering Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the province's specific instructions in implementing the "one-stop" mechanism in handling administrative procedures; promoting the implementation of public services online and publicly on the National Public Service Portal. The working group suggested that in the coming time, the province needs to direct departments, boards and branches to guide, urge, closely follow the practice, and inspect localities to strictly comply with regulations on the submission and presentation of household books, temporary residence books when performing administrative procedures; review and adjust the operation to receive and respond to results at the commune level to ensure consistency and synchronization. Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the province, the working group will record and summarize it for submission to the competent authorities for consideration.
