For Long An, over the past time, Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated and signed cooperation agreements in many fields of commerce, industry and trade, agriculture, transportation, tourism, education, health, science and technology, public security,etc. Notably, Ho Chi Minh City has supported 10 businesses and cooperatives of Long An to confirm 22 safe food supply chains and connect products with major distributors such as Co.op Mart supermarket, Satra Distribution Center, Vissan Company, some kindergarten kitchens in Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Dien Trading and Service Cooperative, Big C, Aeon,etc, contributing to stabilizing the consumption market, increasing the added value of agricultural products of Long An province.

In addition, the two localities also coordinated to implement the planning of Provincial Road 827E connecting Tien Giang - Long An - Ho Chi Minh City and many connecting works between such as Provincial Roads 7,8,9,10; connecting Luong Hoa-Binh Chanh, Nha Be and Can Giuoc roads; expanding Provincial Road 830;etc.
