On the morning of March 9, the delegation of Long An visited and worked at the headquarters of Ruentex Group.
Ruentex is a multi-industry group with 10 member companies; started in the textile industry, then developed into construction, finance, insurance, service and medical sectors. At the meeting, in addition to introducing the process of formation and development, the Group's leaders introduced the Tang Award - one of Taiwan's prestigious scientific awards awarded by the Group's Chairman - Founder Dr. Samuel Yin.
The award honors contributions to the sustainable development of mankind, especially in the field of science and technology - this is also the vision of the company. Group leaders highly appreciate the economic potential of Vietnam today, so they look forward to expanding investment in the Vietnamese market in general, in Long An in particular.
On the side of Long An, Provincial Economic Advisor - Nguyen Minh Lam highly appreciated the company's development history, process of implementing green production goals to protect the environment and maintain sustainable development. He affirmed that the province always welcomes all investors to learn and implement the project, and especially encourages corporations to apply modern scientific and technological achievements in investment business, contribute to modernize the province's industry.

On the afternoon of March 9, the delegation worked and surveyed the bonded warehouse at Ally Logistic Property Company (ALP).
ALP is the largest logistics company in Taiwan with a super modern bonded warehouse towards a sustainable logistics model. The company currently operates 6 logistics warehouses, 14 distribution centers and manages over 800 million USD in assets in many countries. The company's upcoming goal is to invest 1 billion USD for 1 million m2 in each country the company visits. With a particularly favorable geographical position for trade and logistics development, ALP is researching investment in Vietnam and hopes to have the opportunity to cooperate with Long An province in the near future.
After surveying the bonded warehouse and the presentation of the ALP representative, the provincial economic advisor said that the logistics development orientation has been included in the provincial master plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 awaiting for the Government approval. The logistics planning areas have large clean land funds, are now ready to receive investors and are closely connected with other key industrial zones in the province, including 200 active Taiwanese enterprises.
Long An is an important trade gateway, creating close regional links with surrounding provinces. At the same time, the province has a long border with Cambodia and has Long An international port in operation, ready to receive ships of 50,000-70,000 tons. With the above advantages, the demand for transportation, cross-border goods circulation and international trade in goods will be a great opportunity for logistics development. He wished that the company would come to survey the reality to invest and believed that ALP would be successful in Long An.

This opens up the expectation of connecting cooperation and investment between enterprises in Long An province and Taiwanese enterprises, in the field of hi-tech application agriculture, which is going from incubation to processing, helping to increase processed products, creating great added value, reducing costs, especially helping Long An's agricultural products participate in the global supply chain.

After a week of working, Long An Delegation achieved many important results in investment promotion activities when successfully coordinated to organize the Vietnam Investment Promotion Conference in Taipei City; strengthen cooperate with Taiwanese agencies, organizations and enterprises; actively exchange and promote cooperation with large-scale corporations such as CT&D, Ruentex, Nanoplus Tech, ALP,etc; surveys modern urban and traffic works, effective model of agriculture, industrial zones, and logistics services of Taiwan (China). It is expected that after the business trip, Long An will receive many quality FDI projects in both scale and technology from leading corporations, contributing to the sustainable development of the province.
