Ruentex is a multi-industry group with 10 member companies; started in the textile industry, then developed into construction, finance, insurance, service and medical sectors. ALP is the largest logistics company in Taiwan with a super modern bonded warehouse towards a sustainable logistics model. The company currently operates 6 logistics warehouses, 14 distribution centers and manages over 800 million USD in assets in many countries. The company's upcoming goal is to invest 1 billion USD for 1 million m2 in each country the company visits. With a particularly favorable geographical position for trade and logistics development, ALP is researching investment in Vietnam and hopes to have the opportunity to cooperate with Long An province in the near future.
After surveying the bonded warehouse and the presentation of the ALP representative, the provincial economic advisor said that the logistics development orientation has been included in the provincial master plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 awaiting for the Government approval. The logistics planning areas have large clean land funds, are now ready to receive investors and are closely connected with other key industrial zones in the province, including 200 active Taiwanese enterprises.
Long An is an important trade gateway, creating close regional links with surrounding provinces. At the same time, the province has a long border with Cambodia and has Long An international port in operation, ready to receive ships of 50,000-70,000 tons. With the above advantages, the demand for transportation, cross-border goods circulation and international trade in goods will be a great opportunity for logistics development. He wished that the company would come to survey the reality to invest and believed that ALP would be successful in Long An.
