Long An leaders meet Japanese firms in effort to improve business environment

Deputy chairman of Long An province People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc on October 30 presided over a meeting with Japanese firms who are operating in the province. The meeting was attended by Japanese vice consul general to HCMC Kazunori Hosoza and chairman of Japanese Enterprises Association in HCMC Kadowaki Teiichi.

At the meeting, director of the provincial Department of Planning & Investment said this year's second meeting aimed also at solving proposals by the firms from the previous meeting, receiving new opinions and suggestions to set enterprises' minds at rest to do business in the province.

Nguyen Van Duoc said that the opinions and proposals by Japanese firms are necessary to improve business and investment environment to facilitate investors’ operations in the province.

He also presented some difficulties which Long An has met while being lured foreign investment and prompted Japanese firms, who have got investment certificates, to soon come into operation to contribute in socioecoomic development in the province./.
