Long An leads Mekong Delta in Public Administration Reform Index in 2024
According to the 2024 Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX) results, Long An province scored 89.68%, marking an increase of 0.46 percentage points compared to 2023 (89.22%). This performance places Long An 16th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide, and first in the Mekong Delta region.
PAR INDEX 2024 Mekong Delta Region Ranking
In terms of the Satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS) in 2024, Long An province achieved 82.71%, ranked 41/63 provinces and cities nationwide, up 16 places compared to 2023 (57/63), up 4.05% compared to 2023 (78.66%), ranked 8/13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta.
Both PAR INDEX and SIPAS are key tools used to comprehensively and objectively evaluate the outcomes and impacts of administrative reforms. These indices enable localities to analyze, compare, and identify strengths and shortcomings in reform efforts, allowing for targeted improvements to enhance public service quality and efficiency.
