Long An offers incense to celebrate 130th Comrade Vo Van Tan’s birthday
On August 28, at the Duc Hoa Crossroads Historic Site, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province solemnly offered incense to the statue of Vo Van Tan on the occasion of his 130th birthday (August 1891 - August 2021).
The incense offering ceremony is held solemnly, ensuring the regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council – Nguyen Van Duoc; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – Nguyen Thanh Hai; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Nguyen Van Ut; Head of the Propaganda and Training Department of Provincial Party Committee – Hoang Dinh Can; Secretary of Duc Hoa District Party Committee – Phan Nhan Duy; representatives of leaders of Duc Hoa townlet, Duc Hoa Thuong commune; and representatives of the Comrade Vo Van Tan’s family attended the incense offering ceremony.

Comrade Vo Van Tan, former Standing Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Cochinchina, a typical senior leader, a pioneer communist soldier during the founding of the Party, he tirelessly strived all his life for the country, for the people, always firmly believe in the final victory for the cause of national liberation struggle, heroically sacrificed before the enemy's gun. He is a shining example of revolutionary ethics and ideals of life, worthy for today and future generations to learn and follow.

The 130th birthday celebration of Comrade Vo Van Tan was organized neatly but very solemnly, in line with the situation of the whole country, especially the southern provinces, including Long An, which is actively and drastically developing the measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully offered incense to the statue of Comrade Vo Van Tan, they expressed their deep gratitude for his great contributions to the Vietnamese revolution and nation./.
