Long An participates in Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum 2024 in Kien Giang
According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, from September 29 to October 3, Long An will participate in displaying and connecting the consumption at the Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum in 2024. The forum is organized by the People's Committee of Kien Giang province in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

With the theme "Linking for mutual development - Kien Giang 2024", this event attracted the participation of more than 35 provinces and cities and more than 300 investors to explore opportunities and promote business cooperation.
Attending the forum, Long An province brought outstanding and potential OCOP products: room spray essential oil and Moc Hoa Vietnam cajuput essential oil products of Moc Hoa Tram Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Moc Hoa district); SALA freeze-dried goat yogurt products of Thai Y Phuong Company Limited (Thu Thua district); instant lemon powder products and lemon tea products of Chanh Viet Long An Investment Joint Stock Company (Ben Luc district).
In addition, the province also exhibited, displayed and introduced many OCOP products with beautiful designs and packaging and key products, typical products, high-tech products of the province such as sticky rice, lemon, dragon fruit, pineapple, taro, melon, etc.

It is known that within the framework of this forum, there will also be conferences, seminars and signing of cooperation memorandums, to promote trade connections, expand the market for domestic and international OCOP products, activities to explore the production process of traditional Phu Quoc fish sauce and special music programs every night.
The forum aims to enhance cooperation and connectivity between provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region, between the region and central ministries, branches and other localities across the country, as a basis to promote and develop the potential of OCOP products of the region. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for products from the Mekong Delta in particular and the whole country in general to reach out to the world, contributing to the development of the agricultural economy and building sustainable new rural areas./.
