According to the Resolution of the 17th meeting of the IXth Provincial People's Council, the province will allocate 5 billion VND to care for children in special circumstances and reduce the risk of children falling into special circumstances in 2020.
The province mobilizes wheelchairs for disabled children
In order to support children in special circumstances, children at risk of falling into special circumstances, children in areas with difficult and extremely difficult socio-economic conditions to have opportunities for community integration and development, the provincial budget will support the implementation of health care programs for children.
Accordingly, the province will organize selective examination for children with congenital disabilities such as eyes, cleft palate, mobility disabilities, maxillofacial teeth, malnutrition, congenital heart disease, burn scars, diuresis, etc. to maintain rehabilitation for disabled children and children infected with toxic chemicals in the community as well as support surgery for them.
The support will be due to the organization of the programs "For children's eyes", "Smile surgery", "Rehabilitation surgery", and heart surgery program for children with congenital heart disease.
In addition, the province will organize activities to visit children in special circumstances, children at risk of falling into special circumstances, children in areas with difficult and extremely difficult socio-economic conditions on the occasion of Lunar New Year, International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and Action Month for Children, etc.
The province mobilizes books and notebooks for children
The province will support children with serious diseases, children in special circumstances and children at risk of falling into special circumstances; provides vehicles, learning tools, and other supports for children in special circumstances and children at risk of falling into special circumstances, children in areas with difficult and extremely difficult socio-economic conditions to help them have conditions to go to school.
The province will organize programs and activities through supportive resources for the Provincial Child Protection Fund; have plans to inspect and supervise the activities of the provincial child protection fund when it will be deployed to localities.
In addition to VND 5 billion from the provincial budget, the province will mobilize funding from social resources such as aid from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals./.
