Long An: Site clearance area reachs over 1,652 hectares
According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, from the beginning of 2024 to the end of November, the entire Long An province compensated and cleared over 1,652 hectares of land.

Thus, compared to the registered target for compensation and site clearance in 2024, the province has achieved 140.84% of the registered target(1,173 hectares), 110.20% of the striving target (1,500 hectares).
In which, the area paid to households to implement the project is more than 1,084 hectares (public investment project is more than 140 hectares; non-budget investment project is nearly 944 hectares); the area paid to households for the boundary demarcation is 568.8650 hectares.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment continues to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to remove obstacles and difficulties to more effectively implement compensation and site clearance work, attracting investment for socio-economic development of the province./.
