In 2019, the sector of industry  and trade expected some key targets such as the industrial production value (compared to 2010) reached VND 245,900 billion, the total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached VND 88,700 billion, households using electricity reached 99.9%, the province's export turnover (not included in the provincial plan) expected to reach USD 5.9 billion, the import turnover reached USD 4.5 billion, the total state budget revenue reached VND 2.1 billion, the local fund for supporting industrial promotion expected VND 1.5 billion, the fund for supporting trade promotion expected VND 2 billion.

In the field of industry, the sector makes plan to support businesses linking to use each other's products; speeding up the investment progress of newly established industrial clusters (ICs) in the province to improve the occupancy rate of ICs.

It is strived in 2019, there are at least 3 ICs go into operation; at the same time, the Department will check and advise the Provincial People's Committee to revoke investment projects that are not implemented or delayed.

Also, the sector focuses on monitoring the production and business situation of enterprises, especially large ones or the ones exporting key products of the province as well as proposing solutions to solve their difficulties and problems of businesses, promoting production development; etc.

Beside, the sector continues to call for businesses to invest in large commercial projects and service which are motivated in the province, especially in key areas; at the same time, the sector calls on commercial projects and service according to planning, contributing to erasing spontaneous markets, developing retail systems and promoting domestic goods consumption./.
