To date, 234 projects have been approved for compensation, support and resettlement with an area of ​​12,354 hectares, affecting 56,560 households, with a total compensation and support cost of VND 84,095 billion. Of which, 42,008 households have been paid, reaching 74.2% with an area of ​​9,092 hectares and an amount of VND 62,427 billion.

The projects focus on key areas including: 13 transport projects; 13 industrial park and cluster development projects; 11 urban, residential and resettlement area projects; 5 clean land fund creation projects and 3 projects implemented according to Resolution No. 05-NQ/DH of the 11th Long An Provincial Party Committee.

In addition, there are 247 other projects serving socio-economic development, including 41 projects signed and implemented by the Real Estate Consulting Service Center and the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Services, then transferred to the Center for Land Fund Development and Natural Resources and Environment Services for continued implementation.

Speeding up the progress of compensation and site clearance is considered a key step, creating favorable conditions for key projects to be implemented soon, contributing to promoting infrastructure and socio-economic development of the province./.
