IDICO IP has a total planning area of over 524 hectares, of which, the industrial land area is more than 361 hectares, invested by IDICO-CTCP General Company and Long An IDICO Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.
According to the report, up to now, the investment unit and the People's Committee of Duc Hoa district have carried out tally of 1,294 out of 1,301 households with an area of over 518 hectares, accounting for 98.8 percent. There are still 7 households with an area of 5.95 hectares not yet counted, this area is forced to complete the compulsory tally procedure by People's Committee of Duc Hoa district.
Regarding the compensation of site clearance, the area of compensation has been decided on 471 hectares with a value of nearly 1,963 billion VND (excluding public land); has paid 1,178 households on an area of 422 hectares with a value of nearly 1,629 billion VND. The project also has 121 households with an area of 49 hectares which have not received money with the value of about 134 billion VND.
Road leading to the industrial park is under construction
Currently, investor is constructing resettlement areas, main roads leading to resettlement areas, embankment surrounding the IP, leveling the ground, etc. According to the implementation plan in the next months of 2020, IDICO constructing the IP infrastructure with total value of about 1,280 billion VND, including such items as reclaiming ground preparation, leveling the ground, constructing road connecting Hai Son - Tan Do Industrial Zone to Provincial Road 830, factory for waste water treatment, operating house and many other items.
The Director of Project Management Unit of IDICO IP Investment - Doan Van Hung proposed that the provincial People's Committee soon instructed the state management agencies to quickly draw the sticks for resettlement background for households in order to create conditions for the Industrial Park to speed up the implementation; for 7 households that have not conducted tally (5.95 hectares), it is necessary to carry out the legal procedure of compulsory tallying soon; For households who have not received compensation money, they need to mobilize to receive money and follow all the procedures for compensation and site clearance as prescribed.
Currently, the IP has only deployed an area of about 173 hectares, leveled 47 hectares, the remaining area is not for construction by households. The investor requests the state management agencies to soon support, solve problems and support security to be able to deploy the construction of the remaining items.

Through listening to reports from investors, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut said that he would have a meeting and discuss solutions solving difficulties and recommendations of investors with related state management agencies and People's Committee of Duc Hoa district in the following week. He suggested that investors should soon build infrastructure for compensated land and ground clearance.
In the coming time, IDICO must make a weekly progress report, commit to complete the infrastructure in stages, and schedule to attract secondary investors. The provincial leaders committed to accompany investors, businesses, early remove difficulties so that IDICO IP will soon complete infrastructure, attract investors and put into operation in 2020./.
