Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam works with Can Giuoc district on Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park project
On May 17, Standing Committee member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam had a meeting with People's Committee of Can Giuoc District to survey the progress on compensation, site clearance, difficulties and obstacles of Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park project.

Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park was approved by Prime Minister for investment in Decision No. 1420, dated August 20, 2021; and Decision No. 9267, dated September 22, 2021 of People's Committee of Long An Province to build in Tan Tap Commune, Can Giuoc District by Saigontel Long An Co., Ltd.
According to the compensation, support and resettlement plan approved by Can Giuoc District People's Committee, the project has 1,498 affected households, with an area of 158.56 hectares. The compensation amount is about 2,112 billion VND. Up till now, 157 households have been compensated with an area of 20.85 hectares, amounting to 239.8 billion VND.
Saigontel has only transferred to the district a total amount of over 254.8 billion VND for 157 households. The remaining 436 households have not been compensated.
Regarding the compensation, Saigontel Company committed to transfer money to the district to ensure payment for the people who agreed to receive the money.
Speaking at the meeting, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam suggested that Saigontel Company soon transfer money to ensure compensation for the people. Can Giuoc district and the company need to cooperate to speed up the completion of the resettlement area; review cases of resettlement, temporary residence, and arrange payment in time. In the process of project implementation, if there are any difficulties or problems, the district must promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for direction to solve, and soon put Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park into operation, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality./.
