In 2022, the province's activities for the advancement of women have markedly changed in both quantity and quality, demonstrating their role in advising, consolidating and ensuring the effectiveness for women at all levels.
With the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in coordination with relevant departments, agencies, sectors, mass organizations and localities organize the implementation of the proposed contents, especially paying attention to issues related to women's rights and interests.

The mainstreaming of gender equality into the province's socio-economic development plan has attracted attention and positive changes such as in the fields of labor and employment, poverty eradication, education and training, especially, the work of female cadres is focused on all stages from planning, training, promotion.
Female cadres participating in party committees at all levels for the 2020-2025 term are 840/4,578, accounting for 18.34%, of which, at provincial level: 6/53, accounting for 11.32%, district level: 120/892, accounting for 13.45 %, grassgroot level: 714/3,633 accounting for 19.65%.
Women participating in the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term are 3/8 people, reaching 37.5%. Female members of the People's Council at all levels were 1,444/5,354 people, accounting for 27%, an increase of 3.15% compared to the previous term (23.85%).
Female cadres belonging to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee are 34/244 comrades (accounting for 13.93%). As of October 15, 2022, the province has 51,186 party members, of which 19,519 are female, accounting for 38.13%.
Committee for the Advancement of Women in Can Duoc district is awarded the Emulation Flag of Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in activities for women advancement activities in 2022.
Propaganda in various forms in order to raise the awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees, employees and the people are carried out synchronously, thereby helping the subjects to approach and well implement the Law on Gender Equality; Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control and policies related to women.
However, the mainstreaming of gender equality issues in the formulation of socio-economic development strategies, programs, plans and projects in departments, sectors, mass organizations and localities is still limited, and implementation is still limited, have not yet met the real needs. The gender mainstreaming does not have specific guidelines for the departments, branches, units and localities to implement.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa asked the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women to supplement specific targets and assign members in charge of each locality and unit; raise awareness of party committees and authorities on gender equality and work for the advancement of women; focus in the work of female cadres; promote propaganda on the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State on gender equality;etc.
On this occasion, the Committee for the Advancement of Women in Can Duoc district was awarded Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in activities for the advancement of women in 2022; 9 collectives were awarded certificates from merit of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 20 collectives and 25 individuals were awarded certificates of merit from Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women./.
