42 industrial parks and clusters have automatic wastewater monitoring systems

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province has 23 industrial clusters in operation. Of these, 3 industrial clusters, Hoang Gia, Duc Hoa Ha and Duc Hoa Dong, are still in operation but have not completed infrastructure and do not have a centralized wastewater treatment system. However, secondary enterprises in these industrial clusters all treat wastewater to meet standards before discharging it into the environment.

To date, 11/23 industrial clusters have installed automatic and continuous wastewater monitoring systems and transmitted data to the Department of Agriculture and Environment for monitoring and supervision purposes.

Regarding industrial zones, the whole province has 34/34 industrial zones that have built centralized wastewater collection and treatment systems, reaching 100%. The treated wastewater all meets the standards before being discharged into receiving sources.

Of these, 31/34 industrial parks have completed the installation of automatic and continuous wastewater monitoring systems and connected monitoring data to management agencies.

There is one remaining industrial park that has invested in a monitoring station, but because it has not generated wastewater, it has not been able to put it into operation and connect data; 2 industrial parks have a small number of secondary enterprises, not many production activities, and almost no wastewater generation, so they do not have the conditions to operate the treatment system and install automatic monitoring.

Investing in and completing synchronous wastewater treatment infrastructure and automatic monitoring systems in industrial parks and clusters is of great significance, contributing to improving the efficiency of pollution management and control, ensuring sustainable development.

The province continues to direct investors in industrial park and industrial cluster infrastructure to urgently complete and put into operation centralized wastewater treatment systems and install monitoring systems in accordance with regulations, ensuring that all waste sources are strictly controlled before being discharged into the environment./.
