Ben Luc: Trade and service value reaches VND 2,566 billion in QI/2019
In the first months of 2019, commercial and service activities in Ben Luc district, Long An province continued to develop with various types of activities, meeting the demand of goods and services for the people.
Trade and service value of Ben Luc district reaches VND 2,566 billion, up 19.3% over the same period of 2018.
Accordingly, trade and service value of Ben Luc district reached VND 2,566 billion in the first quarter of 2019, reaching 26.7 percent of the plan, up 19.3 percent compared to the same period in 2018. The above results have many causes, in which business activities in markets, supermarkets, etc. are more active, diversified in terms of goods and customers and high purchasing power, too.
Besides, the last traditional Lunar New Year – Year of the Pig, the purchasing power of food, foodstuffs and consumer goods increased from 20-25 percent compared to other months despite the price fluctuation and increasing from 3-5 percent on each type of product.
Over the past 3 months, the district also regularly implemented the market control, anti-smuggling, trade fraud, price stabilization and food safety and hygiene./.
