The Long An Culture - Tourism Week 2022 is an activity to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Long An being awarded 8 golden words  "Trung dung kien cuong, toan dan danh giac" (With loyalty and valiance, the whole people participate in fighting enemy)". This is also a major cultural event to promote the province's tourism potential. After 5 days of taking place (from September 17 to September 21), the Long An Culture - Tourism Week 2022 has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. Activities within the framework of the Culture - Tourism Week were also successfully organized, making an impression on visitors, bringing many social effects, helping to introduce the land and people of Long An, and contributing to preserving and promoting traditional culture of the nation, and developing sustainable tourism.

In which, the Food Festival - Traditional Craft Village associated with the OCOP Exhibition in Long An province has attracted about 50,000 visits (average 10,000 times/day). The "Miss Vam River" contest has selected a representative for the beauty, intelligence and bravery of women in Long An in particular and the South in general. Miss Vam River in 2022 is selected as the brand ambassador of the province, contributing to introducing and promoting the culture, tourism and image of Long An in the near future.

In the past time, Long An has constantly strived to improve the quality of services to create a breakthrough for the province's tourism. The average growth rate of the province's tourism sector is over 20 percent per year. In 2008, the total revenue from tourism activities was only 57 billion VND; in 2018, it reached more than 560 billion VND. In 2021, when the epidemic was complicated, the province's tourism revenue reached VND 180 billion. Until August 2022, the province's tourism industry has welcomed 300,000 visits, with a revenue of 150 billion VND.
