At the ceremony, the representative of the provincial Construction Investment Project Management Unit announced the detailed plan for the Phuoc Tan Main Border Gate construction project. The plan was approved by the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee under Decision No. 1641 dated August 1, 2025.

Detailed plan for the Phuoc Tan Main Border Gate construction project

The detailed planning area for the project covers 20.78 ha within the Phuoc Tan Main Border Gate zone, comprising functional areas such as administrative offices, an integrated control station, a border guard checkpoint, a square and ceremonial ground, export-import yards, reserved development land, and transport land.

The landscape and architectural space features a well-organised layout of functional areas, ensuring service radius requirements and compliance with planning regulations for the main land border gates. The Phuoc Tan Border Gate area is designed in a linear-and-nodal model, aligned with the main axis of Provincial Road 781. This serves as the gateway’s visual focal point, marked by symbolic structures that embody the character of a modern border gate.
