
Workers unemployed due to Covid-19 participate in vocational training at Long An College - main campus
Accordingly, Long An College will coordinate with GIZ to open over 10 short-term training classes for workers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic such as welding; mechatronics; industrial electricity; metal cutting; car technology; installation and maintenance; so on with a training period of 4 weeks, equivalent to 120 hours per month.
When participating in vocational training, students enjoy benefits. Specifically, for male students, after completing the course, they will receive a scholarship of 2 million VND per student, travel allowance of 500 thousand VND per month and a lunch allowance of 80,000 VND per day.
Particularly, after completing the course, female students will receive a scholarship of 2.5 million VND per student and people with disabilities 3.5 million VND per student, the rest of the support will be similar to male students.
After the students complete the course, Long An College will issue a vocational certificate and commit to introducing jobs to students in companies and enterprises.
Vocational training classes for workers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic will be opened at the campuses of Long An College including the main campus, Dong Thap Muoi campus, Can Giuoc campus and Duc Hoa campus.
