Long An: 11 products recognized provincial-level OCOP
Information from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Long An has had 11 products recognized provincial-level OCOP so far. This is a product of small and medium enterprises and rural production establishments in the province. The Vietnam Cordyceps Cultivation and Processing Company Limited (Thanh Loi commune, Ben Luc district) has 4 products such as Cordyceps nutritional powder, Cordyceps herbal tea, high-quality Cordyceps Oolong tea and dried cordyceps. All 4 of these products are rated 4 stars.
Go Den white wine product
Go Den white wine Production and Trade Joint Stock Company (Phuoc Loi Commune, Ben Luc District) has 5 products, including Go Den white wine 31 percent, Go Den white wine 41 percent, Go Den green wine 31 percent, Go Den Ming aralia wine 31 percent, Go Den gold wine 41 percent. All 5 of these products are rated 4 stars. Kim Hue sausage establishment (Tam Vu town, Chau Thanh district) has 2 products, including Kim Hue pork sausage and Kim Hue pork baked rolls. Both of these 2 products are rated 3 stars.
The OCOP program is a key solution in implementing and performing the new rural construction program. The highlight of the program is the development of products and services that have advantages in each locality along the value chain, implemented by collective economic organizations and private economy.
In order to contribute to the advertisement and trade promotion of OCOP products, the Ministry of Industry and Trade recently supported the Long An Department of Industry and Trade to build and put into operation the venue for introducing and selling OCOP products at Dong Thap rest-stop station (National highway N2, Thuy Tay commune, Thanh Hoa district). The venue for introducing and selling OCOP products was built with the desire to provide consumers in the province and tourists with products of good quality, clear origin and production process. Thereby, it contributes to stimulating consumption, increasing OCOP product consumption and gradually improving people's lives./.
