Long An and Malaysia Aeon Group cooperate in agricultural product consumption
Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc and representatives of some departments had a meeting with Malaysia Aeon Group to promote the consumption of agricultural products with the participation of about 10 agricultural and handicrafts enterprises in the province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc expected that this meeting will open many opportunities for cooperation through contracts signed between local businesses and Malaysia Aeon Group. Long An has advantages in industrial, commercial, service and agricultural development. In addition, the province always strives to improve the investment environment and provide favourable conditions for investors to cooperate with local businesses.
He also hoped that Malaysia Aeon Group will introduce more Japanese, Malaysian and other investors to invest or cooperate in Long An.

Long An has many advantages in cultivation, process, export of agricultural products (rice, cashew, seafood, dragon fruit, seedless lemon, watermelon) as well as in the production of textile products, footwear, wood, plastic, mechanics, electronics and components, etc. At present, its goods have been exported to more than 120 countries and territories in the world.
The representative of Malaysia Aeon Group – Mr Masayoshi Masuda said he would like to cooperate with local businesses to import bananas, dragon fruits and other products. Besides, the group wishes to have a representative office in Long An to connect business more easily in the future.

Malaysia Aeon Group is one of the major retail trade groups in the world, operating not only in Japan but also in many other countries across the globe. Aeon has officially operated in Vietnam since 2009 in the form of a representative office. The group is present in many provinces and cities of Vietnam.
At the meeting, Huy Long An - My Binh Limited Company and Malaysia Aeon Group signed a banana export contract. The company and the group have imported and exported bananas since 2018. According to the company, Malaysia is a potential market for the consumption of agricultural products./.
