Long An applies Directive 15/CT-TTg in epidemic prevention and control from September 21

Currently, the number of daily infected cases in the province in recent 14 days has been on a downward trend, especially from September 13 to 19, the number of community infected cases continuously decreased. The Provincial Steering Committee has identified the right goals, selected the right strategies and organized the drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of solutions for epidemic prevention and control corresponding to each specific region and area.

In parallel with the vaccine strategy, Long An carried out a provincial screening to proactively screen and ensure that cases F0 were quickly separated from the community and promptly treated. The province actively controls the epidemic immediately in factories, businesses and inns, does not move them to isolation areas to minimize community spread; ensure zoning and isolation at production sites, inns, etc.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control - Nguyen Van Duoc said that the Steering Committee agreed on the policy of applying measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to Directive 15/ CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020 of the PM across the province from 00:00 on September 21, 2021 until further notice. In particular, general measures are prescribed for the whole province and assigned to the People's Committees of districts, town and city based on the epidemic situation, risk level and actual local conditions to decide to adjust supplement the corresponding epidemic prevention and control measures.

In 10 green districts, the district People's Committee is assigned to decide whether to open or continue to close traditional markets. The remaining localities that continue to close traditional markets until September 30 will have the following regulations.

He also requested to strictly implement the PM's direction to consider that "communes, wards and towns are as "fortresses", people are as "soldiers", they are centers for serving and subjects in epidemic prevention and control". Commune level must have a Covid map to understand the epidemic situation in the area, the "red zone" must be thoroughly zoned, whether it is a hamlet, neighborhood, house or factory, company, enterprise, so on to effectively prevent the risk of epidemic spreading.

In addition, the Command Department for Covid-19 Prevention and Control develops a plan "post-Covid-19" to actively collect and treat F0; prepare facilities, not to be passive before the epidemic development, etc./.
