Long An: Businesses temporarily suspended operations for not meeting motto ‘3 on site’

Currently, the situation of Covid-19 epidemic in Long An province is very complicated and unpredictable, the number of Covid-19 cases has increased rapidly recently, especially there have been many cases infected in enterprises. Following the direction of the PM at the meeting with the leaders of Long An province on the afternoon of July 10, 2021 and the conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the teleconference on preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic. On the morning of July 11, 2021, the Long An People's Committee asked companies and businesses in the province to temporarily suspend operations from 0:00 on July 12, 2021 to develop a plan to arrange dining places and accommodation for workers at the company according to the motto "3 on site - production on the site, eating on the site and resting on the site". Companies and businesses that do not meet the motto "3 on site" are forced to suspend their operations.

Therefore, from 0:00 on July 12, 2021, Long An province will strictly control all vehicles and people traveling between Long An province and neighboring provinces with Long An province, except for special cases because for official duty reasons, cases of providing food, foodstuffs, necessary necessities, vehicles transporting production materials, etc. and other activities according to the coordinated plan or announcement of the People's Committees of the provinces, and city.
