According to General Director of Global Smart Steel Co., Ltd - Nguyen Duc Huyen, GBSteel Steel structure factory was built with an investment capital of over 200 billion VND on an area of ​​3 hectares in the 23 hectares industrial cluster of GBSteel. The factory can produce 3,000 tons of steel of all kinds per month such as pre-engineered steel buildings, steel trusses, heavy industrial steel structures and other mechanical products. The factory was built and completed within 1 year, equiped with modern technology imported from Germany and can produce products that met all quality standards to serve domestic and foreign partners.

Besides the steel factory, the factory campus includes a management office, a sports field, a cafeteria, and a dormitory. Currently, the factory attracts and creates job for many workers in Thanh Hoa district and surrounding areas.

GBSteel steel factory construction includes 2 phases. Phase 1 is built on an area of 8.4 hectares to produce structural steel, fresh concrete, etc, expected to be completed by 2024. Phase 2 includes a system of warehouses and factories for rent. This place can attract more auxiliary technology enterprises, contributing to local economic value.

With the motto of doing production and business activities accompanying the work of social security, on this occasion, the Board of Directors of GBSteel factory also donated 1 billion VND to the fund for the poor of Thanh Hoa district. Along with that, player Huynh Nhu (Captain of the Vietnamese women's football team) also donated a jersey signed by the whole team that had just attended the 2023 World Cup for GBSteel to auction to support the underprivileged in the community.

Thanh Hoa is the gateway district of Dong Thap Muoi region of Long An province, adjacent to Tan An city - the political, administrative and cultural center of the province, having National Highway 62, National Highway N2 and Vam Co Tay river route passing through.

Long An has announced the Provincial Master Plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The approved plan is the basis and an important premise for directing the province's socio-economic development, towards the goal to build Long An into a dynamic, efficient and sustainable economic development center of the southern region by 2030. In the master plan, Long An has 6 economic driving force axes. In which, there is a dynamic axis parallel to National Highway 62, connecting Tan An city with Long An border gate economic zone and Dong Thap Muoi region and Thanh Hoa district. The district's main economy is agricultural production with the main crops being rice, yams, lemons, watermelons and pineapples, etc. The district's industry is mainly rice mills. Currently, in Thanh Hoa district, there are 137 companies and enterprises in operation, with the main business lines being rice milling and livestock farming. In Tan Tay commune alone, there are 6 operating enterprises.

In order to promote the potential of the district, over the past time, the province has oriented the locality to develop 2 industrial clusters including Tay Tay and Thuy Dong; Tan Tay apricot village eco-tourism area in Thanh Hoa district to attract infrastructure investment, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality./.
