Long An marks the 132nd death anniversary generals

Leaders of Duc Hoa district and Ba Diem commune offered incenses to generals.

Generals Phan Cong Hon from Ba Diem commune and Nguyen Van Qua of the Eighteen Betel Nut Gardens of Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City were heroes in the struggle for independence from French colonialism.They were killed at Hoc Mon market on March 30,1886 by the French colonialism.

The Phan and Nguyen families built temples to commemorate the generals at My Hanh Bac commune in Duc Hoa district, Long An province and at Ba Diem commune in Hoc Mon district.

Temple in Long An was recognized as historical relic site by the provincial authorities in 2000./.
