Movement against plastic waste and waste classification at source launched

On November 25, the Standing Committee of Long An Youth Union cooperated with the World Wild Fund Vietnam (WWF Vietnam), the Management Board of Tan An high school organized the movement to fight against plastic waste and classify waste at source for high school students.

In two activities under the flag meeting (morning, afternoon), nearly 2,000 students of Tan An high school heard WWF Vietnam representatives inform about the harmful effects of garbage in general and plastic waste in particular; waste classification at source and the benefits of waste classification.

Many students also bravely participated in answering the questions of the Organizing Committee regarding the movement against plastic waste and waste classification at source.
